Save your natural tooth and find relief from discomfort with professional root canal treatment.

- Numb before anything begins, every time

Saving The Tooth You Already Have
A root canal has a reputation it no longer deserves. The pain people associate with it is the pain of the infection that made it necessary; the treatment is what takes that away.
The work itself is patient and precise: finding every canal inside the root, cleaning and shaping them, and sealing them so bacteria cannot get back in. Done properly, the tooth stays yours.
What is Root Canal Treatment?
Also known as endodontic therapy, root canal treatment removes infected or damaged tissue from within the tooth. The procedure involves cleaning, disinfecting, and sealing the tooth to prevent further infection, ultimately restoring its function and appearance while relieving pain.
Preserve Your Natural Tooth: This treatment saves your tooth from extraction, keeping your smile intact.
Relieve Pain: Root canal therapy eliminates the pain caused by infections, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile comfortably again.
Prevent Complications: Left untreated, tooth infections can lead to abscesses, bone loss, and more serious health issues.
Our experienced dental team is equipped with advanced technology to ensure that your root canal treatment is thorough, comfortable, and successful. We’re here to make the process smooth and pain-free, helping you maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.
Root canals under the loupes
Successful root canal treatment depends on seeing fine detail — our dentists work with surgical loupes and headlights for accuracy at every step.
Long-Term Benefits of Root Canal Treatment
Choosing root canal treatment not only saves your tooth but also protects your long-term oral health. By preserving the natural tooth structure, you help maintain the alignment of your teeth, prevent jawbone deterioration, and avoid the need for more complex treatments like implants or bridges. With proper care and routine dental check-ups, the results of your root canal treatment can last a lifetime, allowing you to enjoy a pain-free, fully functional smile for years to come.

The Root Canal Journey
Comprehensive Examination
Your dentist will conduct a detailed examination, including digital X-rays, to assess the extent of the infection.
Anaesthesia & Sedation
To ensure your comfort, appropriate anaesthesia is administered before the procedure begins.
Cleaning & Disinfection
The infected tissue is carefully removed, and the root canals are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
Filling & Sealing
The root canals are filled with a biocompatible material and sealed to prevent reinfection.
Tooth Restoration
In most cases, a crown is placed over the tooth to restore its strength and function.

Knowing What Happens Next Changes How It Feels
Root canal treatment has the worst reputation in dentistry and most of it is undeserved. On why being told what is coming matters more than most people expect.

Our Approach To Root Canal Treatment
Root canals fail for one reason more than any other: a canal that was never found, or never fully cleaned. That is why the work is done under magnification and good light, and why it takes the time it takes rather than the time that was booked.
A root treated tooth usually needs a crown afterwards to stop it splitting. You will hear that at the start, not at the end.

Your Root Canal Questions, Answered
The tooth is numbed first, and for most people the appointment is no worse than having a filling. The severe pain people associate with root canals is the pain of the infection beforehand, and the treatment is what removes it.
Often one or two, occasionally more for a molar with several canals or a tooth that is heavily infected. We would rather take the time and do it once than rush it and have to repeat it.
Usually yes, particularly on back teeth. A root treated tooth has lost its internal structure and becomes prone to splitting, and a split root cannot be repaired. The crown protects the work you have already paid for.
You could, and occasionally that is the sensible choice. But nothing replaces a natural root as well as the root itself, and replacing the tooth later usually costs more than saving it now. We will set both options out honestly.
A well-sealed root canal with a sound crown on top can last decades. What shortens it is decay getting back in at the margin, or the tooth splitting, which is why the restoration on top matters as much as the root filling underneath.
