Dentistry That Keeps You Out Of Trouble

General dentistry is the unglamorous half of the job and by far the most important. Check-ups, hygiene, fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions and dentures are what keep a mouth working, and doing them properly is what makes any cosmetic work worth having later.

Everything below happens in the same Chester surgery, with the same team and the same rule: you get the findings and the price in writing before anything begins.

What We Treat

Patient having a routine dental check-up

Dental Checkups

Regular dental checkups are essential for maintaining oral health. During these visits, we assess your teeth and gums, ensuring early detection of any issues and offering preventive care to keep your smile healthy.

Dental Hygiene

Good dental hygiene is key to preventing gum disease and tooth decay. Our hygienists offer thorough cleanings and personalized advice on maintaining excellent oral health through proper brushing and flossing techniques.

Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are used to repair cavities and prevent further tooth decay. We use tooth-colored materials to seamlessly restore the tooth’s structure, function, and appearance, leaving you with a healthy, natural smile.

Dental Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and bridges restore the function and appearance of damaged or missing teeth. A crown strengthens a weakened tooth, while a bridge replaces one or more missing teeth, ensuring a complete, natural-looking smile.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a procedure used to save a severely infected tooth. By removing the damaged tissue and sealing the tooth, we can eliminate pain and preserve your natural tooth structure.

Gum Treatment

Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile. We offer treatments for gum disease, including scaling and root planing, to remove plaque buildup and prevent gum recession, ensuring optimal oral health.

Tooth Extraction

Sometimes a tooth cannot be saved. When that is the case we take it out calmly, under proper anaesthetic, and talk through what replaces it before it comes out rather than afterwards.

Dentures

Dentures provide a removable solution for missing teeth, restoring both function and appearance. Whether full or partial, dentures are custom-made to fit comfortably, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile confidently.

Emergency Dentist

In case of dental emergencies, such as severe pain, broken teeth, or trauma, our emergency dentist services provide prompt relief and expert care to address the issue and prevent further complications.

The Desk You Speak To First

Nine treatments under one roof only helps if somebody joins them up. This is the team who book them, sequence them, and tell you what each one costs.

Our Approach To General Dentistry

Almost everything we treat here was preventable, and most of it was cheaper to fix earlier than it turned out to be later. So the first job at every appointment is to find things while they are small, say plainly what we found, and let you decide what happens next.

Nothing is booked before you have the plan and the price in writing.

Common Questions, Answered

Yes. You can register as a new patient before your first appointment and you do not need a referral. Ring 01942 882070 or use the contact page and reception will find you a time.

For anything other than an emergency, yes. We need to see the whole mouth before recommending work on part of it. A filling placed in a tooth with untreated gum disease underneath does not last, and you would end up paying for it twice.

Every plan is put in writing before anything starts, with the full figure and the alternatives. The fees page lists current prices, and 0% finance over 24 months is available on qualifying treatment.

That depends on your own risk rather than a standard six months. A healthy, low-risk mouth can safely go longer; active gum disease or a high decay rate needs to be seen more often. We set the interval and explain why.

Tell us before you arrive so we can plan for it. A longer appointment, a stop signal you control, topical gel before any injection and a proper explanation of what is about to happen make more difference than most people expect.
