The Practice Behind The Name
Olympus Dental is small on purpose. It is run day to day by the two dentists who treat you, which means the clinical standards and the commercial ones are set by the same people.
Everything else on this site follows from that: prices published rather than given out on request, treatment plans in writing, and the honest answer when the right advice is that nothing needs doing yet.
Our Practice & Core Values
Olympus Dental is led by principal dentists Dr George Karageorgiou and Dr Panagiotis Karageorgiou, who share a family heritage in dentistry spanning several generations. Everything we do is guided by three principles: honest, ethical advice; modern, evidence-based treatment; and a warm, welcoming environment where patients feel listened to.
We combine advanced postgraduate training with everyday practical experience, so you get specialist-level care in a friendly local practice.

Register
Fill in the new patient form before you come in, or do it at reception when you arrive. You do not need a referral.
Your first examination
A complete initial examination with two X-rays for £30, covering the teeth, the gums and the soft tissues of the mouth.
The findings, explained
We go through what we found in plain language, including what is healthy and what we are simply keeping an eye on.
A written plan
You get an itemised plan with the costs, the options and the timeline, to take away and think about.
Ongoing care
Your recall interval is set by your own risk rather than a fixed six months, and the same two dentists see you each time.

Dr George Karageorgiou
Dr George holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa” in Iași. He went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology and an MSc in Dental Implantology at the University of Salford.
His clinical work covers comprehensive dental care, advanced diagnosis, restorative dentistry, root canal treatment, extractions, and single and multiple dental implant placement — including complex full-mouth implant rehabilitation. He also works as an associate implant dentist in a referral setting.

Dr Panagiotis Karageorgiou
Dr Panagiotis earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa” in Iași and has practised in the UK since 2019.
He provides comprehensive examinations, preventive care, restorative treatment, root canal procedures, crown and bridge work, and extractions. He has a particular interest in complex extractions and is known for his calm manner and precise surgical technique.
